  • Day 1 - Scenic Transfer to Akagera,Authentic Local village Experienc

    start with scenic 2.5-hour drive to Akagera National Park, along the way, enjoy stopovers to admire Rwanda’s rolling hills and stunning landscapes, before entering the park you will participate in local community activities like weaving baskets, banana beer production, traditional dances and many others, upon arrival at the park you will check in to your lodge, and later, you will go for a scenic sunset boat tour on lake Ihema.

  • Day 2 - Hot Air Balloon and Half game drive

    Start your day with an early morning Hot Air Balloon experience to catch sunrise, offering a unique view of the savanna, lakes, and Big five animals. Later after a good bush breakfast, continue with a half game drive to spot more different animals. Later transfer to your lodge for a restful afternoon.

  • Day 3 - Full Game Drive

    Embark on a full game drive inside the park to spot different types of animals including the big five, zebras, giraffes, antelopes and rare bird species. Later check in to Karenge bush camp for an overnight stay.

  • Day 4 - Transfer to Kigali, Fazenda sengha and Departure

    After a relaxing morning, embark on a scenic drive from akagera national park to kigali, enjoying Rwada’s stunning landscapes. Once arrived have lunch and depending on your flight schedule go for a recreational visit at the Fazenda sengha club, located on Mount Kigali, which happens to be the tallest mountain in Kigali, offering stunning views of the city and outside the city, you will get to enjoy different activities including horse riding, quad biking, archery, ziplining and so many others,....later you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.

Kigali International Airport (KGL), on the outskirts of Kigali, would most likely be your point of entry point into the country. There are currently no direct flights from any North American city to Kigali. All require at least one stop, with most major cities, including New York, Toronto, Sao Paolo and Montreal only requiring one stop. Direct flights are available from Amsterdam and Brussels. There are also direct flights on Turkish Airlines, from Istanbul, and from Dubai on Rwanda Air. There are no direct flights from Doha and Qatar. Flights from major cities in Asia, such as Hong Kong and Singapore, also require one stop. Flights from Sydney, Australia presently require two stops.

Rwanda is quite tiny, and most people travel inside the country by car. Rwanda's speed limit is 60 kilometres per hour on all roads. Akagera Aviation, on the other hand, provides charter helicopter transfers to and from any place in the country.

  • Passports must have a clean and a full visa page for endorsement.
  • When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
  • As of January 2018, citizens of all countries are now eligible for visas on arrival at US$30 for 30 days. More details at www.migration.gov.rw
  • For people visiting Rwanda in conjunction with Kenya and/or Uganda, it is possible to buy a joint visa for all three countries with advance application. See www.migration.gov.rw for details.
