The Kazinga Channel is a long natural channel that links 2 lakes in the region; Lake George and Lake Edward. The shores of the channel draw a vast number of animals making it one of the most important features in Queen Elizabeth.

- Day 1 - Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NPEarly in the morning, transfer to the medley of wonders that is Queen Elizabeth National Park. However, we will first visit a locally run disabled children's home. It is a local initiative whose aim is to help disabled children and their families. Your presence will make all the difference in their lives.

- Day 2 - In Queen Elizabeth NPThe first activity in this haven is an early morning game drive. We will drive in Kasenyi area before going back to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. In the afternoon take part in the boat cruise on Kazinga Channel where chances of seeing Hippos huff and spray mere feet away from the boat are high, Buffalos linger in the shallows. The likelihood of Elephants awarding the boat cruisers with their presence is high. The park is also known for incredible variety of birds and some may be seen while on the boat.

- Day 3 - Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable ForestAt leisure, embark on your journey to Bwindi Forest going through Kabale a small indigenous town, with beautiful scenery of hills and valleys, terrace farming almost everywhere. Arriving in Rushaga in the early evening, just in time to rest and get ready for the next day’s gorilla trekking.

- Day 4 - Gorilla trekking DayThe long awaited gorilla tracking experience is here! Tracking Gorillas is one of the absolute highlights of your safari. You will have a very early breakfast and drive to the park entry for a pre-briefing during which you will be grouped into 8, assigned guides, armed rangers and then let loose into the forest. Trekking may take between 3 and 8 hours - depending on where the gorillas have wandered off, but every distance covered is well worth the effort. After you meet the gentle giants you are allowed an hour with them, then you will hike back to the park headquarters.

- Day 5 - Going back to EntebbeOn this day, we will have a short game drive in the park to bid it farewell and drive to Entebbe. The drive is mostly smooth with a couple of photographic stops.

Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- Passports must have a clean and a full visa page for endorsement.
- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
- Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
