This 5 days Uganda Adventure Safari starts in Entebbe and ends in Entebbe. Experience the wonder of the World’s renown Murchison Falls as it squeezes through a narrow gorge. Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda's largest National Park. The Murchison Falls Protected Area (MFPA) comprises of Murchison Falls National Park (MFNP), Bugungu and Karuma Wildlife Reserves. The park derives its name from the waterfalls where the mighty River Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and flows down to become a placid river which flows through the center of the park as it makes it way to Lake Albert.

  • Day 1 - Entebbe - Murchison Falls National Park
    Depart Kampala after breakfast. Your driver guide will brief you on the day's program shortly before the start of a 6hour drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Have a stopover at Kabalega dinners for a short break. After continue the drive to Murchison Falls National Park via Masindi town and drive out of town to a marram road and get to Murchison Falls National Park. After clearance at the park gate, you are ushered into the Murchison by a congress of playful anticipating baboons along the road. They grapple about in anticipation as some shy away into the thick Budongo Forest.

  • Day 2 - Murchison Falls National Park
    Arise very early in the morning at have breakfast at depart a around 5:30am for your game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile in your open-roof vehicle which will give you an excellent opportunity to view and photograph the diverse wildlife. Expect to see elephants, lions, cape buffalos, Roth child’s giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribis, bushbucks, kobs, hyenas etc and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the lodge at 12:00pm for lunch. After lunch, go for a boat cruise that starts at 2:00pm upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just few of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’, marvel at the schools of hippos, crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers, hornbills, cormorants and the rare shoebill storks. Later, return to your lodge and relax in the evening.

  • Day 3 - Murchison Falls National Park - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
    After Breakfast you will check out and depart the lodge and enjoy another game drive as you drive towards Masindi you will make a stop over at the top of the falls then later drive through the Budongo forest as you exit the park. Expect to see a congress of playful anticipating baboons and other primates. Check in at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary have lunch and relax.

  • Day 4 - Rhino Trekking - Entebbe
    Arise early in the morning have breakfast and start you r day with the Rhino tracking experience. Enter the territory of the southern white rhinos on foot. Well-trained rangers will guide you through the bush to where the rhinos are on the day of your visit. You will have the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. As these rhinos are free to move around on 7 000 hectares of land, it is often necessary to drive to the areas where the rhinos are, before taking the bush trek. This activity will take you about one and a half to two and a half hours depending on where the Rhinos were last seen. Depart for Entebbe in the afternoon and the driver guide will drop you at your place of abode or at the airport for your next flight.

Getting There

From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

  • Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
  • Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
  • Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
  • Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
