- Day 1 - Arrival in ArushaOn Day 1, you will arrive in Arusha, Tanzania. You will be welcomed by your safari guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) and transferred to your mid-range lodge for check-in. You can relax and rest after your journey or explore the nearby town of Arusha at your leisure. Arusha is known as the gateway to Tanzania's northern safari circuit and offers a vibrant mix of local culture, markets, and shops where you can pick up any last-minute supplies for your safari. - Day 2 - Tarangire National ParkOn Day 2, after breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, you will depart for Tarangire National Park. - Day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater - DepartureOn the final day of your mid-range safari in Tanzania, you will depart from the Serengeti National Park and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the "Garden of Eden". After an early breakfast at your lodge in the Serengeti, you will check out and embark on a game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is renowned for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Once you arrive at the crater rim, you will descend into the crater for a thrilling game drive inside the crater floor. The crater is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and various species of antelope, as well as a large concentration of pink flamingos in the crater's soda lake. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot within the crater, maximizing your game viewing opportunities. After your game drive, you will ascend back up to the crater rim and start your journey back to Arusha. You will arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, where your safari adventure will come to an end.
