The Selous’ beauty of the park is matched by the quality of safari with its widest diversity of safari activities.   • Day 1 - 1 Day Fly from Zanzibar to Nyerere NP Shared trip
    A pick up will be arranged from your hotel to Zanzibar airport at 04:00 AM or 05:00 AM Based on your hotel location then fly from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park at 07:00 AM for 50 minutes. Pick up by our guide at Mtemere Airstrip with a lunch box and water then start a game drive at Nyerere National Park. Selous is home to a large population of elephants, a big number of buffalo and wild dogs. Other species commonly seen are lion, bush buck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, Kudus and Crocodile. During the afternoon you will take lunch (01:30 PM) and advance with the game drive until evening, then take a flight back at 04:00 PM from Nyerere to Zanzibar. End of tour.

  • Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://eservices.immigration.go.tz/visa/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
  • Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
