Or you may choose the Livingstone Plus which gives you the best of both worlds; a full Livingstone Classic Safari package and a day extension to Victoria Falls on the other side of the border. - Day 1-2 - Welcome to KhwaiArrival You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost. he Khwai Concession is a region in the north-eastern Okavango Delta. It is renowned for offering excellent leopard sightings as well as wild dog. Elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, giraffe, zebra and hyena are ever present. Join us non the exciting journey as we camp out in Khwai, where Elephants wander through the campsites and high concentrations of game drink from the river. Your game drives will be conducted in the early morning as the sun rises and in the late afternoon as the sun sets to catch a glimpse of the nocturnal predators as they get out of the shadows in preparation for their next meal. Camping will be in designated campsites Khwai in meru tents with a veranda, equipped with a bed and a folding mattress, en-suite bathrooms with hot shower. The bathroom has a flush-able portable toilet, shower and a sink. You will access your toilet which is safely secured to the tent.

- Day 3-4 - Welcome to SavutiWe will leave camp in the morning for Chobe National Park, with its diverse and striking landscapes, via Savuti on a journey of about 6 hours. The Savuti marsh in particular offers some of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa year round. Truly at the interior of the park, Savuti boasts most of the Chobe species, except for water-loving antelope. It is best known for its predators, particularly lion, cheetah and hyena, of which there are large resident populations. The Savute Marsh is the deepest part of the MababeThe Savuti channel has a fascinating history of flooding and drying up independently of good, rainy seasons and flood levels elsewhere, a mystery that has intrigued Geologists for many years. As you continue your search for wildlife, you will traverse the drier region of Savuti where bull elephants dot the plains. Your Guide will take you through a drive of a life time.

- Day 5-6 - Visit the chobe riverWe will be destined for the Chobe National Park via the Chobe River where your game drives will meander along the banks of the river. The Chobe River Floodplain is an amazing game viewing area where water attracts large herds of buffalo, elephant, zebra and other herbivors. Due to the proliferation of prey, predators are likely to be close at hand. Sun sets in this region are always spectacular and allow amazing photographic opportunities. The trip will last for approximately 5 hours.

- Day 7 - Enter KasaneThe final leg of your safari officially ends in Kasane where you will be treated to a cruise on the Chobe River. This experience allows you to get a closer look at the aquatic animals and birds not easily approached on safari. Xaa safaris can arrange upon request for a trip to Livingstone or Victoria Falls, with the latter highly recommended. It is from Kasane that you can catch you flight to enroute to your next destination. End of tour Additional accommodation can be arranged for an extra cost. You'll be dropped off at the airport.

Getting There
Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, also known as Gaborone Airport, is the main airport in Botswana. It is located 15 km from Gaborone, the capital.
For travellers, it is more common to fly into Maun Airport (MUB) and Kasana Airport (BBK). When combining a safari in Botswana with a visit to Victoria Falls, it is common to fly into Maun and depart from Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) in Zimbabwe or Livingstone Airport (LVI) in Zambia.
Most visitors to Botswana will have a stopover in South Africa to pick up a direct flight from OR Tambo International Airport (JNB), Johannesburg or Cape Town International Airport (CPT).
In most cases, your tour operator will collect you from the airport and will arrange all further transportation.
