From late January to early March, the vast plains become a birthing ground for hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, creating one of nature’s most dramatic events.      Day 1 Arusha – Drive to Ndutu Region (Ngorongoro Conservation Area)

    Depart Arusha early and head towards Ndutu, located between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Enjoy your first game drive en route with views of the endless plains and abundant wildlife.

     Day 2 Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu – Explore the Calving Grounds


    Spend your day searching for newborn wildebeest calves and the predators that follow. The fertile plains are teeming with wildlife during this season.

     Day 3 Ndutu Safari – Predator Tracking & Wildlife Photography

     Day 4 Southern Serengeti & Lake Ndutu Region


    Drive deeper into the Serengeti or circle Lake Ndutu to find more action. Marvel at cheetahs on the hunt or large lion prides resting under acacia trees.

  • Day - Day Activity

     Day 5 Final Game Drive in Ndutu – Return Toward Karatu


     Enjoy a final morning game drive in Ndutu, then begin your journey back toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. Overnight stay in Karatu for a relaxing evening.

     Day 6 Karatu – Return to Arusha


    After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive back to Arusha. Depending on your departure schedule, you can visit a local market or coffee plantation en route.
