- Day 1 - Arriving in Kigali & City Tourour professional Tour guide will meet you upon your arrival at the airport (or a Kigali hotel), and take you on a guided Kigali city tour. After lunch, you will understand why our country is called ‘the Land of a Thousand Hills’ as we drive northwards through the Rwandan farm heartland to the city of Ruhengeri. Dinner is provided as you spend the night at a lodge near the park Dinner & Overnight at Mountain gorilla view lodge.

- Day 2 - First Rwanda Gorillas TrekkingIn the morning, you will an early enjoy breakfast at the lodge and pack for a day in the park: water, jacket, camera, and a packed lunch. you will start at the park headquarters at 7:00 am to check in and learn about the park and different gorilla families. After a briefing together with your trekking guide, it is a brief drive to the forest trail to begin the trek. While hiking to the gorillas you will enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of the rainforest. After enjoying a majestic one-hour stay with the gorillas, you hike back out of the park and the driver will meet you. Dinner and overnight stay at as Above.

- Day 3 - Volcanoes National ParkToday will be another early morning with breakfast at the lodge at a briefing at park headquarters at 7:00 am. Your park guide will share with you interesting facts about the monkeys and their habitat. Golden Monkey trekking may take 1-4 hours depending on the troop’s location in the forest. In the afternoon, you may go for a cultural walk to the Banyarwanda Village to experience the traditional Kinyarwandan culture. Dinner and overnight stay.

- Day 4 - Second Gorillas Trekking in Volcanoes National ParkYou will wake up and take morning breakfast, and later go for the second gorilla trekking in volcanoes national park, you will be allocated another gorilla group to really experience a double gorilla trekking in Rwanda. After a briefing together with your trekking guide, it is a brief drive to the forest trail to begin the trek. While hiking to the gorillas you will enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of the rain forest, Upon completion, you will drive back to Kigali (2 hours) for your flight back home or next arrangements.

Getting There
Kigali International Airport (KGL), on the outskirts of Kigali, would most likely be your point of entry point into the country. There are currently no direct flights from any North American city to Kigali. All require at least one stop, with most major cities, including New York, Toronto, Sao Paolo and Montreal only requiring one stop. Direct flights are available from Amsterdam and Brussels. There are also direct flights on Turkish Airlines, from Istanbul, and from Dubai on Rwanda Air. There are no direct flights from Doha and Qatar. Flights from major cities in Asia, such as Hong Kong and Singapore, also require one stop. Flights from Sydney, Australia presently require two stops.
Rwanda is quite tiny, and most people travel inside the country by car. Rwanda's speed limit is 60 kilometres per hour on all roads. Akagera Aviation, on the other hand, provides charter helicopter transfers to and from any place in the country.

- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.

- For people visiting Rwanda in conjunction with Kenya and/or Uganda, it is possible to buy a joint visa for all three countries with advance application. See www.migration.gov.rw for details.
