Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” Ngorongoro Crater is home to a high concentration of wildlife within a relatively small area. Expect to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, wildebeests, and—if you're lucky—the endangered black rhino, completing the Big Five experience. The crater’s diverse habitats also support hyenas, jackals, flamingos, and other bird species.

You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, surrounded by stunning crater views, before beginning the drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll be dropped off at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for your onward journey.
