- Day 1 - Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Mto wa Mbu
Your safari begins in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing from your safari guide, you will drive about two hours to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks.
Tarangire is famous for its ancient baobab trees and the largest population of elephants in Tanzania. The park offers excellent opportunities to observe large elephant herds interacting near the Tarangire River. During your game drive, you may also encounter lions, cheetahs, and even elusive leopards, while giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest are commonly seen throughout the park.
At midday you will stop at the Tarangire River picnic site to enjoy lunch while overlooking the river, where wildlife often gathers to drink. Curious monkeys and baboons may appear nearby, adding a bit of entertainment during your break.
After lunch, you will continue with an afternoon game drive before leaving the park around 4:30 PM.
Later in the day, you will drive to Mto wa Mbu village where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight relaxation.

- Day 2 - Ngorongoro Crater – Mto wa Mbu
After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of the most remarkable wildlife destinations in the world.
Your first stop will be the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint, where you can take in the breathtaking panoramic view of the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. The scenery here is truly unforgettable.
You will then descend 600 meters into the crater for a game drive on the crater floor. Because the crater forms a natural enclosure, wildlife viewing is exceptional. Many animals live here year-round, making sightings easier than in many other parks.
The crater is one of the best places in Tanzania to search for the endangered black rhino, which is often the highlight for many visitors. Along the way you may also see lions, hyenas, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and large groups of wildebeest.
After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the crater, you will continue your game drive before ascending the crater walls in the afternoon.
You will return to your lodge in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.

- Day 3 - Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Lake Manyara is well known for its large flocks of flamingos along the lake shore and its famous tree-climbing lions, although sightings of these lions are rare.
During your game drive, you will explore the park’s diverse habitats including forest, open grassland, and lakeshore. The park is home to a wide range of wildlife including buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, monkeys, and many bird species such as vultures and eagles.
You will also visit the hippo pool, where you can observe hippos at close range, and see the park’s natural hot springs while continuing your wildlife viewing experience.
