- Day Day 1 - Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla tYou will be picked up at 6:30 am by our driver/guide. Begin the 8-9 hours journey and travel south-westwards, there will be a stopover for lunch and Continue with the journey, Arriving at the Rushaga sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening, Check-in into Rushaga Gorilla lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Rushaga gorilla lodge

- Day - Trekking the Gorillas and a walk to the Batwa communityGet up at least by 6:00 am to prepare for the gorilla trek (by wearing long-sleeved shirts, long trousers, strong waterproof hiking boots, gardening gloves) and have breakfast so that you are at the briefing point by 7:00 am for briefing by the Park ranger on the guidelines of mountain gorilla trekking. You will be assigned to one of the gorilla families in Rushaga, With your backpack (containing a sweater, camera, binoculars, drinking water, and snacks), a walking stick that will be provided at the briefing point and after hiring a porter (optional), you will walk or be driven to the trailhead at 8:00 am. With so much excitement, start the trek in the thick forest where you will be escorted with armed ranger and guide from Uganda wildlife authority. Trekking can take 30 minutes to 7 hours (depending on the location of the gorilla family), the guide will notify you of their presence and will spend one hour interacting and taking photos with non-flash camera. After the one hour, return to the trailhead, you will be awarded a certificate that shows you did gorilla trekking in Uganda, once you are done, the Driver will be waiting for you and get back to the Lodge to relax and have a walk to Batwa communities at the boundary of the forest. While here, you will be entertained by their traditional dances, get to learn how they make fire out of ordinary sticks like they used to do when they used to live in the forests before eviction that is if interested, and later return to the Lodge for dinner, relaxation and comfortable sleep.

- Day Day 3 - Drive back to Kampala or Entebbe airportAfter a hefty breakfast, embark on another 8-9 hours’ journey back to Kampala or Entebbe with a stopover for at the Equator where you will stand on two hemispheres-northern and southern and also have lunch, buy souvenirs and take photos then continue straight to Kampala or Entebbe airport. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch. Accommodation: no Accommodation

Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- Passports must have a clean and a full visa page for endorsement.
- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
- Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
