- Day 1 - Pick-up and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.After breakfast you will be picked up from your location in Entebbe or Kampala and transferred to the national park. The drive to the park is approximately 5-6 hours, and along the way, you will get to see the stunning scenery of Uganda’s countryside. You will have a stopover at the equator have an exciting experience of standing both in northern and southern hemispheres. You will also have an array of an experiment how water swirls specifically in different directions when placed in the northern and southern hemispheres. While here, you will as many photos for the experience and experiments as you can since photography is allowed. Then after the equator experience you will again embark on your journey driving to Mbarara city and along the way you will stop for lunch break. After your meals, the journey will continue and as you approach Bushenyi you will be welcomed by the coolest atmospheric air ever experienced in Uganda. As well as the lush tea plantations on the hilly slopes of Igara and Ishaka. Once you arrive at the park, you will check into your lodge and relax for a while before setting out on an evening game drive. During the game drive, you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and many other species. The game drive lasts for 2-3 hours and provides a great opportunity to experience the beauty and serenity of the park at dusk.

- Day 2 - Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Launch Cruise along KazingaMorning Game Drive, on the second day of the safari, after your breakfast. You will straightaway start the day with an early morning game drive. The drive will certainly take you to different parts of the park. Where you will have the chance to see different animals and birds in their natural habitats. You will stand a chance to see animals for instance the shy leopard, lions, elephants, buffalos, warthogs, hyenas, baboons, Kobs (antelopes), monkeys, hippos, and crocodiles among others. Additionally, you may also have the opportunity to observe a wide variety of bird species, such as the African fish eagle, and various species of kingfishers and hornbills. The park is a birdwatcher’s paradise and is home to over 612 bird species, making it a popular destination for birders. More so, you can expect to see the beautiful landscapes of the park, including the Kazinga Channel, which is a narrow strip of water connecting Lake Edward and Lake George, and is known for its large populations of hippos, elephants, and water birds. However, after the morning game drive, you will visit the Crater Lake, a stunning location located in the heart of the park. The lake was formed by volcanic activity thousands of years ago and surrounded by lush forest and rolling hills. You will have the opportunity to learn about the history and geology of the area, as well as take in the breathtaking views. Later you will drive back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Afternoon Launch Cruise along Kazinga Channel – 3 Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife In the afternoon, you will enjoy an unforgettable launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. During the cruise, you will have the chance to see a variety of wildlife such as hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and many different species of birds. Furthermore, the launch cruise is a relaxing and peaceful way to experience the beauty of the park and its wildlife. Later after the cruise you will drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

- Day 3 - Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge and Transfer Back KampOn the final day of the safari, after your breakfast. You will participate in a chimpanzee tracking experience in the Kyambura Gorge. This exciting adventure will take you deep into the forest. Furthermore, where you will have the chance to see these fascinating primates in their natural habitat. Meanwhile, after the chimpanzee tracking, you will return to your lodge. Later pack your bags, and head back to Entebbe or Kampala. The drive back to Entebbe or Kampala will take approximately 5 – 6 hours, and you will arrive in the late afternoon. Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

I and Lizzie (my wife) did the 18 Day Explore Uganda Safari in July 2023 and we enjoyed every second of it. We visited Murchison Falls NP, Kibale Forest NP, Bwindi NP, Queen Elizabeth National Park, did the Trekking of Gorillas at Bwindi and Chimpanzee at Kibale National Park. We visited the amazing Sipi Falls and Lake Bunyonyi too The communication with Joseph beforehand was wonderful and he always answered us promptly. The 4x4 comfortable safari vans and serene accommodation facilities were all exceptional. Rushaga Gorilla Camp and Buffalo Safari Lodge were amazing accommodation facilities and we thank Joseph for choosing quality facilities Our guide Baker made it a memorable Experience to last and we can highly recommend him to show you beautiful Uganda. He took great care of us and let us have a lot of time with the animals we encountered. We felt safe and very welcome during our entire stay and are already looking forward to coming back.
