- Day 1 - Arrival: Maun to Okavango DeltaArrival & Transfer day Guests will be picked up by Kala Safaris, safari guide from a safari lodge in Maun or Maun International Airport. Guests will be picked in a 4x4 open game viewer followed by safari game viewing safety briefing. If Guests are travelling on any other months not the months of July, August, September. The water levels will be too low to use boats and the transfer to the remote parts of the Okavango Delta will be by road. Approximately a 2 hours dirt bumpy road transfer with plenty of game viewing along the way will follow. They will not be boat rides in the Okavango Delta remote parts when the water is too low. If guests are travelling during the months July, August. September guests will get to experience the highlights of travelling in to the Okavango Delta remote islands of Chiefs island by boat. Guests will be picked from the airport or safari lodge in Maun and will be transferred to a boat station in Maun by the Thamalakane river which will connect the guests on the ultimate Okavango Delta channels. Guests will experience at close range the paradise like activities of the beautiful water filled Okavango Delta and the wild animals roaming inland and on water. The boat transfer will be a 5 hours upstream transfer from Maun in to Chiefs Island, with plenty of game viewing stops from the water. Guests will arrive to an already set camping site in the Okavango Delta to familiarize themselves with the site during the days light and to freshen up, before having their first sunset on mokoro view of the Okavango sky line. Guests will come back from the sunset mokoro ride to have dinner and see the first day away around the campfire.

- Day 2 - Okavango DeltaThe second day will be a full day in the breath taking Okavango Delta islands. Guests will arise to enjoy a smooth mokoro ride in the Okavango Delta after breakfast, followed by a morning guided walking safari in the Okavango Delta Islands to touch, smell and be one with nature. The walk will be led by mokoro polers that reside in the remote Okavango Delta village of Xaxaba, to give guests a tour of the traditional ways of surviving and flourishing in the Okavango Delta. Day 2 will see the guests continuing to enjoy morning mokoro ride in the Okavango Delta and an afternoon of Village walk and tour to see up close the village life of the mokoro polers and the community.

- Day 3 - Departure to MaunDay 3 will start normal like the previous day. Guests waking up at 05:30 am, have breakfast at 06:00am and do the last short mokoro excursion at 07:00am before being transferred back to Maun. If guests accessed the Okavango by Boat. Guests will be transferred by boat on a 4hours down stream with plenty of game viewing sightings. If guests accessed the Okavango Delta by 4x4 game viewer vehicle guests will be transferred back by road during the low water level seasons on a 3 hours transfer. Guests will be dropped off in Maun at Maun International Airport or Maun safari lodges. Guests will have an option to transfer back to Maun by Air at an additional cost which will be not more than 20minutes flight only during the dry season when access was made by vehicle and not a speed boat. This gives the Guests a opportunity to have a scenic view of the Okavango Delta.

Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, also known as Gaborone Airport, is the main airport in Botswana. It is located 15 km from Gaborone, the capital.
For travellers, it is more common to fly into Maun Airport (MUB) and Kasana Airport (BBK). When combining a safari in Botswana with a visit to Victoria Falls, it is common to fly into Maun and depart from Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) in Zimbabwe or Livingstone Airport (LVI) in Zambia.
Most visitors to Botswana will have a stopover in South Africa to pick up a direct flight from OR Tambo International Airport (JNB), Johannesburg or Cape Town International Airport (CPT).
In most cases, your tour operator will collect you from the airport and will arrange all further transportation.
