Tour Features

This 2-day fly-in safari from Zanzibar offers the perfect short escape into Tanzania’s world-renowned wildlife parks—Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Ideal for travelers with limited time, this compact adventure combines scenic landscapes, thrilling game drives, and the opportunity to see Africa’s Big Five in just two unforgettable days. Your journey begins with a short flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, followed by a safari into Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and rich wildlife concentrations. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a lifeline, drawing in giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and their hungry predators—lions, leopards, and hyenas—creating dramatic wildlife scenes. On the second day, you’ll venture into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best places in Africa to spot the endangered black rhino, as well as lions, elephants, jackals, and hundreds of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, surrounded by the sounds and sights of the caldera’s lush plains before heading back to Arusha for your return flight to Zanzibar.
