  • Day 1 - Dar es salaam to mikumi national park
    You will be picked up at 07h30 at your hotel in Dar es Salaam by our transfer team, which consists of a driver and a tour guide. There will be introductions and a briefing of the tour program. Drive to the park for about 6 hours and 30 minutes, arriving at about 15h00. Enjoy the drive as you pass through local towns such as Kibaha and Morogoro, and rolling hills and rugged landscapes. We will stop for lunch in Morogoro town. On arrival, you will check in at the lodge and refresh, and then proceed for a cultural visit to the nearby Maasai village. You will return to the Lodge afterwards for dinner, rest and relaxation.

  • Day 2 - mikumi national park
    After breakfast, you will depart the lodge at 07h00 and drive to Mikumi National Park for a full day of game drives in our 4x4 safari Jeep, guided by our experienced tour guide. You will see a lot of animals in this park today, including elephants, lions, and gazelles. Enjoy a hot lunch in the middle of the park at Mikumi Cottages restaurant, with small monkeys outside the restaurant. While on safari, you will also see a variety of bird species as you drive around the park. Our guide will be able to tell you the name of each species that is seen. After all safari you will be driven to morogoro to catch your train to dar es salaam. End of safari
