  • Day 1 - Maun in to The Okavango Delta
    Guests will be picked up by Kala Safaris, Safari guide from a safari lodge in Maun or Maun International Airport. Guests will be picked in a 4x4 open game viewer followed by safari game viewing safety briefing. A two and half hours drive or transfer to a Mokoro Village station bordering the Okavango Delta will start on a dirt bumpy terrain. Guests will arrive to be transferred from land in to water. Guests will experience their first Mokoro ride as they will be making their way to the island camping site to offload luggage and other personal items. Depending on the time guests will arrive in the Okavango Delta islands and the level of the sun’s heat waves of the day. Guests may have lunch and relax in camp until the late afternoon when it will be cooler to do a guided walking safari on the islands as an afternoon activity. If the guests have arrived in time, the walk may take place during the day before lunch followed by another mokoro ride in the late afternoon for more aquatic game viewing. The day will end with a three course bush dinner on the islands and conversations around the campfire.

  • Day 2 - Okavango Delta
    A full day in the Okavango Delta of exploration. canoeing, guided walking Safari exploration of the delta islands.

  • Day 3 - Transfer to Moremi Game Reserve
    Guests will rise to have breakfast and do the last mokoro ride as part of the transfer from the islands to the mokoro village station, where they will be picked up by a 4x4 transfer vehicle. A 3 hours drive or transfer to Moremi Game Reserve will start on a 99km dirt bumpy terrain. The drive will be slow and safe with plenty of game viewing stops along the way as wildlife is plenty on route to the game reserve. Guests will arrive in camp shortly after the picnic lunch to offload their luggage and to familiarize themselves with the camp during the day’s light and to have hot showers. Towards sunset guests will leave to enjoy the first Moremi Game Reserve sunset over sundowner toast. Around 18:15 pm guests will head back to camp to be treated with a three course bush dinner and close the day around the camp fire.

  • Day 4 - Moremi Game Reserve
    Day 4 will be a full day in Moremi Game Reserve exploring the north east of Moremi Game Reserve with the two game drives of the day both the morning game drive from 07:00 am until noon and the evening game drive 15:00pm until 18:15pm

  • Day 5 - Transfer to Savuti
    Guests will wake up and have breakfast the normal agreed time and have the last morning game drive in Khwai North East of Moremi Game Reserve. Around 11:00am after coffee and stretch stop guests will be driven to Savuti and will have picnic lunch along the way. The transfer will take around 4 hours with plenty game viewing stops. Guests will arrive around 17:00 pm in Savuti. Guests will experience their first evening game drive in Savuti as the first welcome note of the predator dominated wildlife location. After sundowners guests will be driven to camp to freshen up before dinner. Savuti is mainly a predator paradise with plenty of lion viewing, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and wild dogs.

  • Day 6 - Savuti
    Full day in Savuti will be a feast for cats and dogs lovers as they will be in a land ruled by Lion prides. Savuti is of a much drier marsh vegetation terrain compared to the water logged terrains of Moremi Game Reserve. Times agreed upon for waking up, breakfast, morning game drive, lunch and afternoon game drive in Moremi Game Reserve will continue in the exploration of Savuti.

  • Day 7 - Transfer to Chobe National Park
    The 3rd camp transfer will resemble the camp last 2 transfer events. Around 11:00 am after the first morning game drive and coffee stop, guests will be driven to Chobe National Park to experience the Chobe river which is surrounded by 3 countries and its freely roaming wildlife. The day will be closed off with a sunset evening game drive on the banks of the Chobe River.

  • Day 8 - Chobe National Park
    Chobe National Park daily events will resemble the same activities and times practiced in both Moremi Game Reserve and Savuti. A boat ride in the Chobe National Park River for aquatic game viewing will be one of the safari activities in the exploration of the wilderness park. Activties : Boat Ride and Safari

  • Day 9 - Transfer to Victoria Falls
    A day of short one hour 30minutes road transfer from Botswana in to Victoria falls Zimbabwe to enjoy one of the wonders of the world. The day will be a day trip where guest will come back to Botswana for the night. Guests have an option of requesting additional days in Victoria falls to spend the night or nights in Zimbabwe with an option of flying out or departing from The Victoria falls airport.

  • Day 10 - Departure Kasane International Airport
    Depending on the time of departure flight from Kasane International Airport. Guests will wake up at normal time have breakfast before being dropped off at the airport for final departure.

Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, also known as Gaborone Airport, is the main airport in Botswana. It is located 15 km from Gaborone, the capital.
For travellers, it is more common to fly into Maun Airport (MUB) and Kasana Airport (BBK). When combining a safari in Botswana with a visit to Victoria Falls, it is common to fly into Maun and depart from Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) in Zimbabwe or Livingstone Airport (LVI) in Zambia.
Most visitors to Botswana will have a stopover in South Africa to pick up a direct flight from OR Tambo International Airport (JNB), Johannesburg or Cape Town International Airport (CPT).
In most cases, your tour operator will collect you from the airport and will arrange all further transportation.
