- Day 2 - Arusha to Tarangire National ParkLeave the lodge after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. - Day 4 - Lake Eyasi to Serengeti National ParkAfter breakfast, you will drive via the Ngorongoro highlands towards the Serengeti plains, game drives en route to the central Serengeti, and Head over to the Rock Kopjes where you have good chances of seeing some of the cat families. Cheetahs and lions use these giant rock outcrops as observation posts. Mid-afternoon you head towards the Camp located in central Serengeti where you arrive in time for sundowner drinks.
