- Day 1 - ArrivalArrival at Kigali International Airport . Your flight will land at the Kigali International Airport. You will be met by the Akagera Aviation team. They will assist you with fast track customs and immigration clearance (visa processing). You will then take a PCR test to enable you trek at Volcanoes. Once done, you will pick your luggage from the conveyer belt and proceed to the exit. Our representative will be waiting outside to welcome you. Transfer to your hotel. Check in assistance. Overnight stay in a standard category room.

- Day 2 - Historical KigaliAfter morning breakfast and check out assistance, at 09h00, proceed on a guided city tour that will include visits to the Rwanda art Museum, Kigali Genocide memorial and the Choose Kigali arts gallery. Other options can be the museum for campaign against genocide, a fashion house or local market. Lunch will be at Republika lounge for sumptuous local dishes. After lunch, you will be driven to the Volcanoes National Park (3hrs drive). Overnight in Musanze

- Day 3 - Gorilla trekking experienceVolcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range – home of the rare mountain gorilla. You will enjoy as they go about their daily life: feeding, playing, resting, grooming and raising their young ones. Lunch at the Lodge. In the afternoon you visit Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village that offers visitors the opportunity to learn about Rwanda’s culture, traditions and history. Overnight in Musanze

- Day 4 - DepartureHave breakfast at the hotel and check out assistance. At 09h00, have a leisurely drive back to Kigali. En route, we will stop for a tour of the Ellen Degeneres campus for the Fossey fund in Musanze. Have lunch at Imigano or volcanoes restaurant. Continue the afternoon drive back to Kigali. Transfer to Kigali International airport. Bid farewell to your driver guide. Proceed to check in for your outbound flight. End of the tour!

Kigali International Airport (KGL), on the outskirts of Kigali, would most likely be your point of entry point into the country. There are currently no direct flights from any North American city to Kigali. All require at least one stop, with most major cities, including New York, Toronto, Sao Paolo and Montreal only requiring one stop. Direct flights are available from Amsterdam and Brussels. There are also direct flights on Turkish Airlines, from Istanbul, and from Dubai on Rwanda Air. There are no direct flights from Doha and Qatar. Flights from major cities in Asia, such as Hong Kong and Singapore, also require one stop. Flights from Sydney, Australia presently require two stops.
Rwanda is quite tiny, and most people travel inside the country by car. Rwanda's speed limit is 60 kilometres per hour on all roads. Akagera Aviation, on the other hand, provides charter helicopter transfers to and from any place in the country.

- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.

- For people visiting Rwanda in conjunction with Kenya and/or Uganda, it is possible to buy a joint visa for all three countries with advance application. See www.migration.gov.rw for details.
